Customer Service

Shipping

We make every effort to absorb all shipping costs. Shipping in Canada is a low flat rate, via Canada Post lettermail or expresspost (sometimes it makes more sense to ship express).

Standard shipping to USA is usually also via regular lettermail, which in our experience takes about a week to most areas in the lower 48 states. Contact us if you need something sooner.

International Orders

Currently our website only accepts orders shipping to Canada and the United States. Contact us if you're interested in one of our books - we can work something out.

Payments

Credit card payments are processed by Stripe. At no point does Dumagrad have any information about your credit card.

Contact us if you wish to pay via another method. We can arrange direct payments via Paypal, or even Interac Etransfers (for Canadian customers).

Tax rates

Item Tax Rate
Books 5% GST
Used books 5% GST
Prints and artwork 13% HST
Merchandise 13% HST

Taxes are Canada only. On checkout, you may see two separate tax amounts, both labelled "TAX." These represent sum of GST (for books), and sum of HST (for other items). We are working on improvements that will see each tax type properly labelled.

Shipping rates

NOTE: we can still deliver in Toronto during the Canada Post strike. Outside of Toronto, shipping is paused until service resumes.

Get in touch though: we'd love to work it out.

Our policy is simple: we absorb as much of the shipping expense as we can. Sometimes that means we end up selling our books at cost: so be it!

We also tend to experiment and tweak things. There is a slight chance, at any moment, that this chart is outdated. But the amounts billed at checkout are always visible, and correct.
